Company founder and president, Michael Arbuthnot, began his television odyssey in 1997. As a professional archaeologist, Mike dreamed of bringing the excitement and intrigue of the anthropological sciences to audiences around the world.

Mike has been featured on ABC, Travel Channel, History Channel, Discovery Channel, and the Learning Channel. In 2005 he conducted an archaeological survey of the famous shipwreck, R.M.S. Titanic, with film director James Cameron on Discovery Channel’s Last Mysteries of the Titanic. During 2010 Mike hosted Secret Worlds with Michael Arbuthnot, a 6-part archaeology series on the Travel Channel.
Mike resides in St. Augustine, Florida, with his wife, Serena, and their two boys. In addition to television work, Mike consults for Southeastern Archaeological Research, Inc. (SEARCHinc.com) and teaches at Flagler College (flagler.edu). Mike has written over 250 professional archaeology reports and has presented numerous professional papers. He is well established in the archaeological and film communities and is one of the most recognizable archaeologists on television.
Vice President and Director of Business Affairs, Serena Arbuthnot, has an extensive background in business administration, marketing, and management. Serena has helped grow Arbuthnot Media with her husband/business partner, Mike, since they met in 2000.
As Director of Business Affairs, Serena oversees accounting and operations. Serena’s management experience enables her to generate budgets, coordinate logistics, and handle numerous production related tasks. As a long time studio sessions vocalist and artist, Serena provides creative input, particularly in regards to music and audio. Serena also has hosting and VO experience.
